Home Tour | Kitchen

I always get asked "what does your home look like?"  So after many asking, and all of you graciously allowing me into YOUR homes, I am going let you into mine. This is where our family truly lives, day in and day out. It’s my highest joy to make it a space of relaxation and refreshment, and also inspire creativity in my whole family!

After using just about every pale color I could find over the past 17 years, and applying them into many different homes, I finally have settled into my very soft, neutral hued home.  Neutrals are very calming to me and allow me to add in bits of color during the changing of seasons.  Don't get me wrong, I love color and am always excited to use it in my client’s homes.  It's just a personal choice and what brings peace to me in my space.  I describe my personal style as Parisian Chic meets Rustic Romantic Farmhouse.  Kind of a mouth-full!

Starting off my Home Tour, is my French Farm Kitchen.  It is brimming with white moldings, subway tile, granite and white oak wide plank wood floors.  My old farm table was a great find years ago in a local boutique, and is paired with a variety of white slipcovered chairs and linen round back end chairs.

Throughout my kitchen and home, you will see a fun use of sayings my family and I often use.  In the kitchen, the saying love you more, is something we say to our girls (love you more than...rainbows, stars, cookies, the list goes on and on).  I also don't take my home too seriously and love to add humor where I can.  With myself plus 3 daughters, my hubby is totally outnumbered, which is why I decided to have B&D Vinyl add hers, hers, hers, hers, and lastly his to the back of my barstools.  To see more photos and read more about my dreamy white kitchen go to Style Me Pretty Living.
